Creative Explorersとは？

Creative Explorersは、5歳～12歳の子どもたちが英語とクリエイティビティを一緒に楽しむユニークなクラス。
英語ネイティブの子どもも、英語を学習中の子どもも、それぞれのペースで自信を育てながら実践的な英語を学びます。

クラスはすべて英語で行われますが、子どもたちが安心して参加できるよう丁寧にサポートしています。

なぜアート × 英語なの？

アートや創作は、最も自然な「コミュニケーションのかたち」です。
子どもが自分で作ったものにワクワクしているとき、「話したい！」という気持ちが自然に生まれます。
「伝えたい！」という思いこそが、本当の言語の学びのスタートです。

ここでは単語をただ覚えるのではなく、自分の気持ちや考えを英語で表現する力が育ちます。

Creative Explorers の特徴

• STEAMベースのレッスン
  科学・技術・工学・芸術・数学をつなげて学ぶ、創造的で探究心を刺激するカリキュラムです。

• 英語初心者でも安心
  クラスは英語で行われますが、日本語話者に配慮した進行で、繰り返しや視覚サポートもあり安心です。

• 自信が育つクリエイティブ体験
  「正解」はありません。自由に表現すること、挑戦することが大切です。

• 実践の中で英語が身につく
  絵を描きながら、切り貼りしながら、自然に英語が身についていきます。

Creative Explorersでは、ご家庭のスタイルに合わせて選べるよう、柔軟な料金プランをご用意しています。
すべてのプランに材料費が含まれています。

✦ 4回シリーズ：¥12,000（1回あたり¥3,000）

じっくり取り組める基本プラン。テーマに沿って創作を深めていきます。

✦ 2回参加：¥7,000（1回あたり¥3,500）

スケジュールや興味に合わせて気軽に参加できます。

✦ 単発参加（1回のみ）：¥4,000

都合に合わせて1回だけ参加したい方におすすめ。

✦ 初回体験レッスン：¥2,000（はじめての方限定）

まずは1回、お試し感覚でご参加いただけます。

✦ きょうだい割引：合計から¥1,000割引（2 - 4 回シリーズを複数人で受講の場合）

クラスは毎週水曜日、16:00〜17:00 または 17:15〜18:15 のどちらかの時間帯をお選びいただけます。

講師紹介｜アシュリー・ロドリゲス・リード

こんにちは！私はアメリカ出身のアーティスト、テキスタイルデザイナーで、元STEAM教育の教師です。現在は日本で3人のバイリンガルの子どもを育てながら、このCreative Explorersを主宰しています。

アートや創作は、子どもたちの自信・表現力・創造力を引き出す最強のツールです。
特に、英語を学ぶ子どもたちにとって、「伝えたい！」と思える体験があることが大切だと考えています。

Creative Explorersは、ただのアート教室ではありません。
子どもたちが自分らしくいられる場所、そして英語で心をひらく体験です。

What is Creative Explorers?

Creative Explorers is a one-of-a-kind art class where children (ages 5–12) explore English and creativity together through playful, hands-on art projects. Whether your child is a native speaker or learning English as a second language, they’ll grow in confidence as they create meaningful artwork and learn real-life vocabulary connected to science, nature, culture, and storytelling.

Each class is led in English and welcomes bilingual learners of all levels in a warm, encouraging environment.

Why Art + English?

Because art is the most natural way to communicate.
When kids are excited about what they're making, they want to talk about it. And when they have something to say—they’re motivated to find the words.

That’s where real language learning begins.
Not from memorization, but from the desire to express.

At Creative Explorers, children aren’t just learning colors or shapes—they’re learning how to express ideas, emotions, and observations about the world around them.

What makes Creative Explorers special?

• STEAM-powered lessons
  Each week, we explore art through the lens of science, technology, engineering, art, and math. From botanical printing to building paper creatures, kids discover the world in imaginative ways.

• A bilingual-safe space
  All classes are taught in English, but designed with Japanese learners in mind. I explain naturally, repeat key vocabulary, and encourage questions. It’s okay to try, make mistakes, and learn through play!

• Confidence-building experiences
  Every child is unique—and their art should be too. There’s no “right” way here. Only encouragement, curiosity, and creativity.

• English through action
  Children use English in a real, engaging context—while painting, building, mixing, or designing. That’s how language sticks.

• 4-Class Series: ¥12,000 (¥3,000 per class)
  Our most popular plan—build confidence and connection over four weeks.

• 2-Class Plan: ¥7,000 (¥3,500 per class)
  Great for families who want to try things out a little at a time.

• Single Class Drop-In: ¥4,000
  Perfect for one-time participation when your schedule allows.

• First-Time Trial Lesson: ¥2,000
  A special price for new families trying the class for the first time.

• Sibling Discount: ¥1,000 off the total price
  Applies to families registering for 2 or more class series.

Payment is accepted via bank transfer or in cash on the first day of class. Payment details will be sent after registration.

Meet the Teacher: Ashley Rodriguez Reed

Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m an American artist, textile designer, and former STEAM educator now living in Japan. I’m also a mom of three bilingual children—and I created Creative Explorers to blend everything I care about: creativity, communication, nature, and connection.

With years of experience teaching art in schools and communities, I’ve seen how art unlocks confidence—especially for language learners. I believe that every child is an artist, and when they’re supported in expressing themselves, they grow in every part of their life.

Creative Explorers is more than a class. It’s a space to feel free, curious, and proud of who you are. I’d love to welcome you!
